To be honest with you, I highly doubt they'll breed in your tank as its so overstocked, and you do nothing to condition them into breeding.

Cheers!

I'm just giving pure advice, whether or not you want to listen to it is your choice.

Seems like a perfectly legitimate question to me.

DM could you PLEASE! explain to Cossie how best to manage his 'Overstocking'?

Then explain his original question?

It's OK to give advice, but you should explain 'WHY' you think his tank is 'Overstocked'. As far as advice on his Xray tetras, if you don't know then simply say that.
Travelling in a fried-out combie
On a hippie trail, head full of zombie
I met a strange lady, she made me nervous
She took me in and gave me breakfast
And she said,
"Do you come from a land down under?
Where women glow and men plunder?

Mick, there's several threads giving advice. ;) :)

Cossie, as DM says, you will probably need to condition the fish, and I wouldn't suggest it in your tank with the other fish ATM :)

However, if you do the more regular water changes as I've suggested in another thread they may decide to spawn anyway....the females will get fat if they're old enough.
Sent from my PC as I still don't understand the the logic for mobile internet usage ;) *grin*

I've given him countless amounts of advice on other threads, i shouldn't need to explain in every one of my posts to him repetitively.

I can see where Mick' s coming from Gents - that is if you were to read this as a stand alone post. However as Cossie has a few posts ongoing at present I can fully understand DM's point and to be fair you have offered a lot of sound advice in other posts.

The only other thing I'd add is, as you clearly seem to be getting annoyed by Cossie not listening to your advice (and I don't think you're alone in this) then the option is not to add a comment.  I'll expect my Nobel Peace Prize in the post  *yahoo*

cheers all

Good point Humf, but I just want to make sure he has the info there incase he bothers to take action with it. I like to share my knowledge and help people and to be honest, the info I'm adding to his posts will help other people if they were to read the threads, if they were in similar situations.

Cheers!
