Well it's been a while since any updates and some may of noticed I had not really been about a few of my close mates on here knew what was going on without writing a life story I'll explain what's been going on the last couple of months.

Go back to middle of March and my so called partner decided to walk out and leave me with my 2 kids nice of her that.

I had no choice but to give up the current job I was doing to look after my children but not wanting to sit on benefits a week later I sorted another job at a place I had worked at previous and I can work hours that work around school hours so that's the job sorted.

I had plenty of interference from her lot along the way

I also met a new girl recently with a complete idiot ex boyfriend who him and his mate decided to attack my car with a hammer during the night I was not quick enough to get out that car was written of through insurance.

Then my daughter decided after 8 weeks she wanted to go live with her mum so that now leaves me just the boy

My new girl stays here and gets on well with my kids so it's a bonus

And the biggest bonus of all is she like the tank so a win win there and will over the next few months try and get it looking like it did as I done absolutely nothing with it over that time and have lost most of my corals but my life and kids had to take priority over the tank.

But I'm still alive and smiling and look forward to a quiet life without all the interference I had for years from her lot

I'll update with some pictures once it looks something again

I agree with Joe! I had noticed you hadn't been around and did wonder if all was ok.
    That explains a lot...
Glad you're ok though, and happy with the new girl :) hope everything settles down for you now.
Just get your backside in gear and sort out that tank and get some pics up! Lol ;)

I just had to prioritise things had crap from all directions.

I chat to Joe a lot on WhatsApp so he knows exactly everything that's gone on it's just not ideal to put it all on an open forum but the above gives a very rough idea as to what's been going on it's been a challenge to keep going but had to for the kids and now just the boy

You have my sympathies. As long as you and the kids are ok then there's always a brighter side.
Now, ease yourself back in with the tank.

Thanks it will take some time to get it back to what it was as it's looking an bit like a FOWLR just shows how fast they can go down hill if left.

I have no algae issues or anything like that but because the

    calcium
    magnesium
    AlK

levels all went to pot the corals suffered

Hugs! Sorry to hear you've had such an awful time. Getting back into the tank will be good for you, and even better, you have a supportive girlfriend who will enjoy your hobby too :)

Sorry you've had such a crappy time but glad to hear things are getting better. Oh & your tank is amazing, with a bit of TLC you will hopefully get it back to its former glory.

Sadly the tank has suffered badly this is it now !!!

Water looks green because it had a dose of reef energy.

It's nothing to what it once was it's hearbreaking looking at it like that but that's life and my loss of corals is  £££££

I just don't have much heart for it at the minute it's just ticking over looking a mess sadly :(
