Aquarium lighting

Hi all I'm thinking of changing my tank lighting I have a hood and would like to keep the lighting inside, I'm not a fan of open top lighting I'm on a small budget, your help please

    Can you post a pic of the hood and advise of the size (length) of the lid and of the tank itself please. :)
    Amazon have some relatively cheap LEDs that will go in the hood.

    If you go for LED's I'd also advise a condensation cover.

    Hi all my hood is 30 inch by 12 inch I all ready have a condensation cover

    I've found the Interpet LEDs to be quite good, there are cheaper unbranded options out there but if you want a brand name without spending into 3 digits they might be worth a look.

    I second the internet ones, having used two sets now. 

    If the worse happens and they fall into your tank that is fine as they are submersible too
