     :21:

Well, the family Cichlidae contains many, many, many species ranging from Angelfish to the Giant Cichlid (Boulengerochromis microlepis) and tiny Dwarf Cichlids to bestriped Convicts :) there is such a huge range of choice. You basically have to work off your water and tank parameters (ph, hardness, temperature, length, depth, water flow, filtration, substrate, hardscape, plants, lighting, caves/hiding spots, etc...) and once you've figured out how you want the tank to look then you can start singling out species and ensuring their compatibility with other species and so on :) ... Please don't hesitate to ask questions :) we will do our best to answer!

    140l, 4ft x 1ft x 1.5ft
    2 x Gold Spot Plecs
    2 x Bala/Silver Sharks (juveniles approx 3-3.5", re-homing when around 6")
    2 x Albino Rainbow Shark (re-homing one)
    1 x Silver Angelfish (Scalare)

Take care with fish (research!) and don't mess up like me!

Awesome! *grin* a friend of mine has a tank with Convicts in and a tank with Africans in (not sure which species but they're African). They're a beautiful fish, which ever species you go for. I love Angels and Convicts personally :) And a couple of dwarf species as they're just tiny :D
