I had a ram who unfortunately lost his mate, he then latched on to a BN and they were hardly ever apart. The ram even used to guard veg until the BN turned up. Odd fish!  *grin*
May have MTS but its not a problem till you admit it.... right?

Mine I've had for about 4 months now, I think? I'm hoping they have a few years with them now since I'd hate to lose one of the pair *bye3*

Thats so weird B, after i lost my male, my female ram used to get followed around by my dwarfed yellow platy, he was the only one that would sit around her and follow her around the tank, even at feeding time he was the only one she wouldn't chase away from "her" food

Love it, love the stones and planting  *grin*

Ps. You've got the same problem I had, holding the iPad upside down (I didn't realise there was an upside down until it was pointed out!)

With the home button on the right hand side apparently.....!

Yeah really like your tank design, obviously got a flare for it. Itll be interesting to see how it grows in.

Do you use co2 or ferts?

It was the plants planted in the lid that I thought was so impressive!  *grin*  Still, looks good even without the hanging plants.

I'm trying to perfect my upsidedown look, you know? I'll have to look into some upsidedown catfish to go with it!

Siege, I just use some cheap stuff called api leaf zone or something? It's probably more to do with the fact my room gets a lot of sunlight and the tropica soil powder  Plus all the plants bar for like two are rated as easy to grow roflmao I'm just trying to keep it super low tech but with the look of something high tech (ish) if that makes sense!

    Rams ate their eggs *fish*

The more I look at the sag the more I can't decide if I wouldn't rather have some different crypts in place of it. Going to give it a couple of weeks or so but thoughts?

Sorry about the eggs too, they may get better as parents, have they got a cave (can't remember of hand)? The sag does like good lighting to grow a good carpet, crypts are much easier to grow and some stay quite short, they have a tendency to melt a bit at first though.

I really don't mind if they eat the eggs, honestly. I just like watching their behavior with each other etc! As far as I know rams aren't really cavespawners? Could be wrong though, at which point I can add a couple *blink*

I'm finding the sag just looks a bit scruffy; I'm not really worried about the light, but I think I'm more interested in giving the fish interesting things to explore and hide in.
