Tubifex
« on: March 03, 2012, 06:53:44 pm »
Bought some of this today, haven't used it for quite a few years.  Fish seem to love it, well not all fish as I worked out....

All tanks tropical, love it like a load of pirahnas.  Goldfish tank, beat each other up for it while try to swallow bits bigger than their mouths and losing a battle by spitting it out in a plume of a mess.

Cories love it, bouncing on each others heads while trying to get that minute piece of worm when there is loads more about.

Betta........damn this fish!!!  Put little bit of chopped up cube in tank.  He stalks it, round and round in circles for 20 seconds, goes in for the kill thinks he disables it, then attacks it again to make sure its dead.  Then leaves the poor thing floating about the tank in pieces not eating it.

From memory betta's loved these worms, or is it my weird fish again? :(
