Sparkling Gourami
« on: March 22, 2013, 01:42:43 pm »
Hi. I currently have a 60l tank housing 8 harlequin rasboras, 4 panda cories, 2 guppies and a platy. I was thinking of adding a male sparkling gourami - would one be ok with the other fish I have?

Thaks

I think you would be a little overstocked if you did, pop your tankd etails in at aqadvisor.com and select your stock and it will give you any conflicts or issues.

It's close to fully-stocked, but one sparkling gourami is compatible. They are just like other gourami temper-wise, but are great in a group with one male and several females.
Sent from my PC as I still don't understand the the logic for mobile internet usage ;) *grin*

Put details in on aqadvisor and stocking is close to full but ok with the SG, though I have added a second filter. Got the SG yesterday, he's a cute little fella, though very shy so far - he's been hiding behind plants since I popped him in the tank. Hopefully he become a bit more adventurous after a few days.
