The ei kit can't be sent 2nd class, as 2nd only allows a weight of up to 1kg, the starter kit is approx 1.8kg so it costs a chunk of money to send.

One question, probably a bloody stupid one, do I add the ferts and carbo directly into the tank? I can't think of where else it would go but just want to confirm. Seems like your adding so little in relation to the amount of water! I used the syringe and squirted the liquids just in front of the filter outlet to try and mix it in.

Yeap, that's it :) Looks only a small amount, but dosing everyday really benefits the plants, not once a week.

Ok.. after threatening to order in a weeks time (this was last September!!..  :oh: ) just sorted it.
Took me so long all my swords died, as did my aponogeton and echinodorus.. and the angels ate all my floating plants (about 2 sq. ft. of them).
Think I'll stock up with more Vallis and Tiger Lotus... maybe.

Just hope I've remembered what I needed correctly  ;)

Just a quickie which I'm sure will have been asked before - is it OK to use Purigen whilst using the ferts / easycarbo combination, or does Purigen remove any of the chemical components?
