TFF Ferts

TFF Plant Nutrition +++ contains all essential nutrients needed including Nitrogen and Phosphorus but unlike the other Aquarium fertilisers available this is provided in dry form ready for mixing at your leisure.

TFF Plant Nutrition +++ is suitable for aquariums with large amounts of plants in relationship to a relatively small number of fish, in this environment the plants can lack Nitrogen and Phosphorus which would normally be supplied by fish waste.

TFF Plant Nutrition +++ is mixed to ensure a balanced blend of Nitrogen and Phosphorus that the plants can readily absorb through the leaves and with adequate substrate will promote luxurious growth.

TFF Plant Nutrition +++ is added on a daily basis at 5ml per 50ltr's of Aquarium water, ensure you keep a close eye on Algae levels as most Algae require the same conditions as our beloved Aquarium Plants, if this becomes a problem you will need to reduce dose by 50% and increase water changes.

TFF Plant Nutrition +++ will need mixing with 500ml of either Distilled or Reverse Osmosis water, simply put the powder into a suitable bottle, add water and shake. (can also be made with boiled and cooled tap water)

TFF Plant Nutrition +++ is best stored in a cool, dark and will last for up to 6 months. I recommend the fridge.

Dosing

After mixing and ensuring that all the ferts are dissolved, you are ready to dose!

5ml per 50ltr of aquarium water. How you add this is up to you, you can dose it once a week after your water change or add every other day or even everyday, I personally dose every other day, but as my tanks are heavily planted I dose this mixture x4 so 20ml per 50ltr. So recommended dosing is as follow's;

5ml per 50ltr if lightly planted.
10ml per 50ltr if medium planted.
20ml per 50ltr if heavily planted.

This is JUST a guide, you can add more if you want, I have added a full 500ml to a planted tank(no fish) with no side effects, apart from my Nitrate levels rising, though I DON'T recommend you do this. Watch the plants, see how they grow, but give them time, when you make a change, give it 2-4 weeks to see how things respond, then adjust, not every other day expecting miricales, they won't happen!

As most of you know I'm a fish-keeper with a passion for plants and planted tanks, this mix has been done to help everyone with an all in one solution, based on 'daily dosing ferts' I have been using for the last 18 months, now changed to an all in one dosing mix dude

Any questions please post or PM me:) Custom mixes can be made to order:) Larger orders, please PM me to discuss, discounts for large orders given.

Liquid Carbon

I also recommend, that if you aren't using a pressurised CO2 system, then you at least get some liquid carbon to add as well as the ferts, this will help the plants just like the ferts, they need carbon as well as the NPK and trace. I wish there was a way to add the carbon to the mox but there isn't, I wish I could sell to you all for a good price like the ferts, but I can't get a supplier and TBH it's a big hassle with that kind of chemical.

Anyway, a few choices below to have a look at, have a shop around, but these few are usually pretty good value smile

link Easycarbo, Zooplus have put there price on 1000ml up cry

link AquaEssentials Aqua Carbon, cheaper, not used this yet, though I may try.

link Seachem Excel, very very good, but expensive, OK if your only doing a tank or two.

link PlantedBox Liquid Carbon, again not used, but I know Mark, he really knows his stuff, so I expect it will be as good as the rest.

Yes its my own dry mix, basically it's the same a Tropica TPN+. its one mix, added either daily or weekly depending on how much planting you have.

Will be fine, I have dosed with the same stuff I use in this mix for over 18 months, this mix is just an all in one as opposed to 2 separate mixes(micro and macro)

I'm only selling one type(an all in one plant food) or do you want me to suggest a commercial one that you can get from a shop?
