Randomly found a digital camera in a cupboard whilst having a clean out. :D

Tank is a bit messy since it's water change and tidy up day tomorrow, and the fish weren't too keen on posing for photos, but I did manage to get a relatively clear one of my favourite boy, who is currently just known as 'Big Smokey'.  *grin*

I'll have another go tomorrow after my water change to see if I can get some prettier pictures.

I've also convinced my mother to get her own 4ft tank instead of stealing my 4ft grow out tank to adopt my adult gold male Nelson, which means I can start setting up my garage as a fish room with the 20gal breeder and the 4ft grow out tank. I'll be getting it set up in their music room and aquascaping for her next week. She's managed to aquire a lovely tank from eBay for £107, with stand, lid etc. But mainly.. More tanks for me! Happyyyy!

Big Smokey is a stunner! Great to hear tank 2 is in the planning stages.

This is 'Ratbag', the male pinoy who paired with my other pinoy.

Again, sorry about floaty bits, tannins and algae! Day before water change day probably isn't the ideal day for photos, but I'm excited about finding a camera.   *grin*

Well, after getting some clear photos and speaking to the angelfish sexing experts on another forum, it turns out I have FIVE males and just the one female. Typical! xD

Oh dear *blink* Will you try to swap some of the males or persevere with what you have?

There's a breeder nearby who's interested in taking the males I don't need, and I know they'll be going to a great home with him. My plan is to give him at least the male pinoy and split up the pair that have formed to see if the female will pair with one of the others, as genetically the pair I have now have some issues. Hopefully she'll pair with Big Smokey! :p

My mum has an unwanted 10gal, full set up with lights, filter, heater... I might 'accidentally' claim it while the other half is in France this week. I've always wanted a nice little nano tank, and my thinking is, if I get it all aquascaped before he gets home, he might let me keep it... xD

It is amazing how things can materialise over night and then have been there for an indeterminate amount of time.

On the Disc world there is probably a Theory relating to it.

Just do not say Rincewind  left it there. May raise a few awkward questions.

Well, I'm a sucker for a nice piece of wood. Just bought this beaut, the background squares are 10cm x 10cm so it's pretty hefty. I think it'll make a nice centrepiece for my planted rescape! :D

Same guy I got my wood from, it's doing nicely.. Loads of white stuff coming out of it but that's harmless anyway!
Great service I got the 24 hour postage free of charge as he couldn't guarantee it to arrive on the Saturday, which it did! He's got some amazing pieces of wood
