Even if the parents aren't, the likelihood of one of them carrying a recessive albino gene is quite high, but I'm sure someone will be able to tell you more.

I do see from time to time on a Facebook Cory group people getting an albino in a group of fry, but not often. I haven't seen albino gold lasers before. Googled them and they look nice!

    Fingers crossed then Ben :)
I can't remember what the chances of albinos from normal parents are, but they must be not out of the question as it does happen.

I also have a couple doing well in the parents tank which I guess to be about a week older. No sign of Mr Albino though :( I managed to speak to a guy at Edinburgh Zoo today about Albinism and he said in fish it is almost impossible to know the likely hood in terms of wild fish as the odds are against an albino to survive, but in captivity the genes are easily passed on so it wouldn't be that unheard of. Quite disappointed that there is no sign of the little fella though, but he did hatch out about 12 hours before the other fish.

Had a count today and I have 20 fry in my tub plus a few more in the main tank. Growing fast!

Swapping with a bit of luck! Only problem is, there isn't many cory nuts down south! I told the guy in the shop I bought them and he said he'd buy them. I'll probably do that as it doesn't take away my locals business. We need them!

Fry have now moved into what was the spawning tank. Moved 18 over so I've had a few losses.

Nope :) Didn't think about it as I had to do it quickly before I went out. Too late now!
