So I bought Arctic's Nano Marine Tank *link*
After much lugging of stuff up 2 flights of stairs and doing my back in (thankfully with the very last trip), I've got my little tank setup. I had a moments panic when I couldn't get the filter to run, but it was just the adaptor and I managed to fix that with a bit of gaffer tape :)
So I'm not really sure what anything is or what I'm doing, so I've got a lot of reading and learning to do along the way. For the moment on the advice from Jordan, I'm going to test daily as it'll probably go through a mini cycle, then when it's settled I think I do a 10% change?
Anyway, here's a pic as I know you all like them :)

There is a red dial on the filter that slows the flow or speeds it up if your getting micro bubbles.

I added the water VERY slowly to avoid that. I just put a couple of spoons of carbon and a couple of the phosphate stuff into those sock like things and bunged them in the filter, that was right wasn't it?
I'll leave it tonight and test the levels tomorrow and post

Yes thats right mate, Just make sure that dont come out of the bags and go into the tank, One thing i did forget to say is rinse the carbon and rowa phos uner tap well as it can reliese bits into tank but no biggie as it clears its self, Just rinse in future
