    Adopted pair of PK betta of my friend. I love the male is not bothered about rest of
    the fish and plays around with female time by time. love bettas! such a joyful fish

    Be careful keeping males and females together. They should only be together for a short time whilst breeding as the male can still kill the female in the same way two males would!

    I'll keep an eye on him. For now he is fine. as I said they came from 25L community tank with another 20 fishes in it.
    so they are just to cohabit. also I keep him busy every day for about 30min with mirror on the side of tank.
    he spends alot of effort and energy going mad about himself.lol

    I'm going to suggest you starve him for a couple of days and then feed pea. He shouldn't be as fat as that, or he'll have digestive problems....he must be quite greedy and eaten most of the female's food as well if they've been kept together.

    to be honest when feeding time is there he does get his portion but he is not greedy.  he is one of the last ones who gets to his portion
