Today is 3rd day without water changes with ammonia and nitrite 0 and nitrates 10
My tank was cycling for two whole months but I made it through
I still vacuum everyday, there is always alot to clean, plec is making most of the mess but I am getting 200+ litre tank before summer so he will have a new home before he grows to a full size, hopefully.
Kribensis couple does not like any of the caves in the tank so they dug one up under a patch of moss I put on the sand in hopes of growing a lawn. Funny how they prefer a hole in the ground to a cave in a bogwood
Females belly is now so dark red it's almost black, both have the most amazing colors. Hope I will be able to take care of fry if the time comes.
Still having the brown algae, though. I going to get a single otocinclus today or tomorrow, could not find any info of any specific species that eats brown algae so I will gamble with what they have at LFS. Water is getting yellower by the day, not sure if it's the wood I put in a month ago or the algae?
Anyway, things are going well, I will test the water daily for a little while longer, 3 days is good but I guess it can still turn to worse, just because

Recently my pair of Kribs had spawned and now there is about 30, 3 day old fry in my tiny 54 litre tank. I know survivability is not even 50%
so it should be fine until they are big enough to find a new home. I think I may need to star feeding the fry tomorow.
I am very proud of my Kribs. Not only did they paired up nicely but they also had fry with a first try
they are great parents and there is no agression towards each other and very little to other fish, but they just learned to stay away
PS. Tank is now fully matured, all parameters are perfect and I only do water changes every 5 days
