Emergency action taken.
PB moved into a floating tub with a tiny filter, used a cut from the mature media to fill it.
I now have a diddy plastic floating tank that's mature and housing PB.
The rest of the media now fills half of the Fluval 4plus.
Also used the opportunity to rescape.
Adding first ammonia dosage tonight.

Word of caution Adam (having read your other thread). Take your time! You do not want any ammonia water getting in this tub. At least daily water changes in the tub as well, even with the filter.

I have a singleton MTS...yes, surprisingly, just the one. But it's very active and fun to watch (sort of).
Received Vale!'s plants today, so I did a little jigging around with the decoration and put the hood on to the tank.
This is what the tanks looking like at the moment:
I wasn't really planning on adding many plants in here, but I'm about to put an order in at LTP.
Couldn't control myself.
Planning to use lino as a background.
Here.
Getting on with a little experiment too as I've no fish.
Here.

30th April - Tank cycled!
Visited the LFS and came back home with the last remaining danio's in stock (picking up more in a couple days). I'm not bothering to stock the tank fully yet.

Never planned to get them when I stepped into the shop. I was mainly looking for harlequin rasboras, shame they were looking pretty ill - couldn't go home empty handed after all that walking so I took the last few danios. These will probably serve as target fish for the kribensis, doubt a krib will ever manage to catch one.
I've got a breeding trio of BN's reserved in Halifax and some L333's in Bradford. Not taking them in until the main tanks set up.

Should be picking up a BN breeding trio THIS weekend!!!
They're only been homed in here temporary, the 240 should be running within a month...hopefully...
Should have some more L333's when the main tanks running.
No phone to take pictures, broke it accidently (Honest!)...

29th May
Picked up the BN trio around a couple weeks later than planned, heres the pictures.
and within a day, this is a small area that they covered in poop - I thought that was bad - now I've got mounds of it, compost anyone?
5th June
a week later, all the plants are uprooted
except a few...
Here's some more pics of them - pictures of the male are piss poor - but you get to understand the sheer size of him.
This is how I used to serve them food (now I attach a clip to the spoon, so no wet arms)
7th July
Uncovered a load of wrigglers accidently, put most into a breeding trap, left a few in the cave.
17th July
The fry trap - complete with bogwood, spoon, clip and cucumber.
The tip as it stands - yes I store some equipment in the tank
Close up of the breeding ground

18th July
More fry on the way
22nd July
Picture of the rapidly growing fry.
Lowered the trap a little and some of them are making their way out into the tank, only a few left in the trap.
aaaand some new additions today!
2x Bronze Corydora
I did like the peppers but temperature would have been an issue.
Talked to the guy at the shop and he's happy to take the 5 Danios off my hands - so I'll be adding another 3 maybe 4 bronze in their place...apparently new stock in next week too

28th July
Returned the Danio's
Two more Bronze Cory's - I seem to have a knack for picking up the last ones in stock, gotta wait for more now.
and 6 Emporer Tetras which were new stock
- really wanting more of these IF I upgrade...They seem to be juvenile and in honesty they're the best fish I've had to date.
Got a fair discount too

4th August
Was a tad worried yesterday as the female holding set number 3 of eggs looked very very stressed - caught them doing the dutty in the morning but there were no eggs.
[apparently, they don't like being disturbed]
Checked again at night and theres a huge batch - female looks alot better too
Better news still, I AM UPGRADING!!!
Planning on getting some rearing tubs for the fry too, I'm grossly over stocked at about 120 inch [not inclusive of the coming additions] in a 70l tank...
