Just remembered - they are called Bladder Snails.

Bladder snails don't eat loading algae. If you want an algae snail then you want a nerite snail :-)

No, maybe not, but they do eat any mulch & any uneaten food - I don't have any algae anyway.

how long have you had the left hand side variegated plant? think it will rot so keep an eye on it to save your water quality from going south, whip it out and pop it in a plant pot
