Yep but I can still read that better than txt spk

Agree, text typing is a pain to read and should be banned on forums IMO as trying to understand it can be like  *headbanger*
Does "IMO" not count as text speak then? lol

    Dear all,

Clearly there's a middle ground, IMHO, IME etc that should be agreeable with all.

It's more the 'gr8 m8' stuff and threads not making sense as the reader can't make head nor tail of what's been typed. We're not plagued by it but if we could all be mindful that some of us are either old (plankton) or feel older than look (Me !).

That ok Tony for any Germans out there ?  *grin*

*coffee* It's not officially morning until I've had my coffee !

Oh yes i am sure that is just dandy but what does IMHO mean? I'm guess ing IME means 'in my experience'??  I know now after adking that LOL is 'laugh out loud'
What is the IMHO.......maybe 'in my humble opinion'????????No????  It could mean anything....
    We were as you are,
and you will be as we are now!!!!!!!!!
(Saw this on a gravestone before, very apt for any situation in life, as in young people making fun of older etc!!!!)

    ...and then there's me! :)

I do use some "forum speak" such as IMO, or AFAIK, or IME, but only well-known stuff. Some of the stuff is just about illogical (Captain! *grin*)
Oh, and I USUALLY read my posts back.....
Sent from my PC as I still don't understand the the logic for mobile internet usage ;) *grin*
    I really hate "autocorrupt"!!!
