Not qhite sure about the layout yet, playing around with the wood and a few small rocks - I'm happy with the basic concept though.

Live plants will include a considerable amount of xmas moss (currently cultivating in another tank), as a carpet to hide the black / white sand divide, anubais nana, green crypts and vallis nana at the rear. Still working on others.

Won't happen for a while though, need to get xmas hecticness out of the way!

Update:
Nothing! absolutely nothing!

This will be going in a different room after I can get rid of the piano to make space, and god knows when that will be :/

Wow Chrisjj!

This is incredible! I'm so jealous! Where did you get those divider things from for the sand divide? It looks insanely good! I would keep the sharp contrast between the two sands personally, but hey! That's what I prefer!

All in all, though, this is a really nice tank so far!

The divider is plastic lawn edging, which has been cut and siliconed in place. I've used it before in other tanks and it works really well.

If left, over time the sands will mix and look a bit crap - I'm hoping that by covering the join with moss, the contrast will be maintained.
Potential fot the tank to be in place between Xmas& New Year
