Format for New Threads concerning Aquarium Problems.
« on: April 21, 2008, 08:38:38 am »
If posting about a problem in your aquarium please list the details below, just saying everything tests OK does not help us to determine where the underlying problem is.
You help us and we can then help you.

  • Ammonia
  • Nitrite
  • Nitrate
  • pH and hardness
pH is not as critical as the first three but does help identify some problems.

It will also help to have the following:

  • What size tank is it and what and how many tankmates do you have?
  • Is the tank cycled? How?
  • What are your most recent water test results (as above)?
  • If possible/necessary, can you post a picture of the problem?
