hi guys I'm struggling to prime my new filter any tips please

    What do you mean struggling? Have you let the water flow into the filter?

    Forgot to connect the hose to the filter?  *grin*

    BTW little tip for anyone else who can't get their filter to prime, take the strainer off the intake and aim a powerhead straight up the pipe.  *cheers*

    Inlet/Outlet pipe the wrong way round ?
    Look after your fish and the water, do regular water changes & maintenance, do your research and the hobby will be rewarding.

    Also you can gently shake the whole filter and it works.
