    Thanks Ian :)
I'm well impressed with the signifers, they have spent about 90% of the time in the open part of the tank, chasing each other round displaying like crazy, its ace to watch, they even occasionally bring the CPD and my yellow platy into it all with them (think they've confused him for one of them haha).
The male apisto has ventured round quite a lot, he met Monica, went to chase her and she turned on him and he backed up. She may still be a bit thinner than she was and still a bit fluttery with her swimming but shes eating well very active and is still the boss! Lol the females seem to have their favourite spots (they like the roots and under the log) but venture around the entire bottom, the male is always flaring his fins at them and i did see a "tail slap" yesterday from him, think he's got to wait for them to grow a bit first, they are tiny compared to him lol

I'll try and get some pics and a vid later on, got water changes and clipping and fert dosing to do, i'm a couple of days out between shifts and wanting to let the new ones settle a bit first before starting changes :)

Ok so as promised, changes and dosing done, i also took the time to move the valis from the 100l to the 180l, surprised me as the bigger bit had actually sent out runners and had 3 other small plants attached to it! I've separated them and planted them.
Also moved the java fern from the front of the arch wood in the 100l to the corner where the valis was, fills out the corner nicely i think :) just hope it all settles.
Also bought a couple of presents for Marsellus, not that he really looks happy about it, but we will see how it goes when i put them in for him. Thanks for "the range" tip got both pieces for £1.99 each, i'll get some pics of them properly in a few days or so.
We've had some interesting behaviour from the apistos, 2 of the females have been tilting either way in front of him and he has returned the gesture while flaring his fins. One pair has even been hiding behind the filter and doing something similar to angels breeding, her rubbing down part of the filter and him doing the same after her, 2 days they've been in our tank 2 days and already looks like they're exhibiting pairing behaviour! I'm thinking of sending a sample of our water to Vale! To see whats really in it lol still cant manage to get them all in a position for pics though :/
Anyway heres the pics and vids:

    Marsellus's house:
    The new presents

    Marsellus showing off

    The 180l:

"Bubba" showing off (theres a Forrest Gump reference there somewhere ;) )

    One of the females

The behaviour pics between him and his females (2 out of 3 aint bad lol)

Will be interested to see how the P signifiers go on, I was thinking of those when I set up my tank but for some reason either couldnt find them or got sidetracked with other species. They always look good on the youtube tanks 'flashing' away.

The other Aussie fish that does a lot of that type of display is the Empire Gudgeon but not regularly seen in UK shops and apparently very difficult to breed.

Love the plants in your tanks and the Cockatoo Cichlids which are my next purchase.  Are they hard to find?

Cant say i've seen any around Kev, i have heard of them though. I'll have to have a bit more of a read up on them. I might see if my water satisfies the breeding/mating need ;) (it has with the others so far lmao)
Thanks Elephant :) i wouldn't say they're hard to find, but i did have to do some ringing about first to check availability in stores before going. I got mine from Maidenhead Aquatics Leicester, i had all the females they had though lol

Thank you.  I've got a Maidenhead Aquatics in Chester so will ring them in a couple of weeks when I'm ready to add more fish.
