    Sorry about the platy. :(
It's always hard to make that decision, at least he spent his time with his mates.

Ah sorry for your loss. Tough call as well. You did what you thought was best & gave him a chance, the little guy is not suffering any longer though hey.
    Exciting times coming up.

Thanks CW, the next few days will definitely be exciting though, my OH has been talking more about planting out Marsellus's tank so i might be putting an order in with AG again a bit sooner than expected. But that will be the last of the fakery (except my little dragon in the 100l but hes staying ;) ) everything will be live or living in some shape or form :)

Nice buys, where did you get them from? I would be interested in some cacs if you managed to breed them.

Thanks mate :) got them MA Leicester this afternoon. Got 1 male (double red apparently) and 3 female (orange)cacs, the male is a brute but its the one my OH fancied so we will see how he goes, already had a bit of showing off from him flaring his fins at anything orange (err...lol) and my OH also discovered how big his mouth is and he has quite a gob on him haha
The rainbows are the p. Signifer and i think i love them already, the energy of them and males sparring is amusing and mesmerising, should get more colourful as they settle and grow (they're pretty small atm). Exciting times :)

Lovely looking fish in both tanks.
Excuse my Newbie ignorance but what type of fish are they in both tanks lol?
Bet you & your OH are having great fun watching the new editions find their places in their new homes.

Thanks CW, no ignorance at all i've been reading up a lot about both lately to (hopefully) make sure we make a suitable decision.
The new fish in the 100l are 8 Pacific blue eye rainbowfish (pseudomogil signifer), i have 3 males and 5 females.
In the 180l we got 4 cockatoo cichlid (apistogramma cacatuiodes), 1 male and 3 females (all the females they had ;) )
Just keeping an eye on everything atm make sure everyone is happy and settling.

Delighted for you. You've always wanted rainbows and dwarf cichlids. All the best of luck with them. Lovely fish thumbsup
