Are those your cory fry from your most recent spawn? They're looking very good and a decent size already. Congrats.

Yeah they range from 2-4 weeks old in that picture. Some almost ready to move out of the nursery.

If I see any eggs I will try raising them to get some practice in. I don't intend to take rainbow breeding too seriously until they are all in species tanks.

Anyway today Iain came and took a pleco and while he was here he spotted a baby cory going about its business in the main tank. I didn't know it was even there.
I think I will try full depth with the fry tank for a week then move the biggest ones over.

Yep he was tiny but looking really well, already showing some nice colour at a guess i'd say he was just over 10mm long but looking chunky!
Was good to see the tanks and all the inhabitants again, its all looking good

God knows how it got there let alone grown so well. He/she must of found a nice hideout where plenty food gets stuck.

I am starting to think about other species of cory that could do well in my waters for future projects, any ideas?

14.6 gh according to the water report. Api gh test says 13

Maybe bronze.
Possibly paleatus (pepper), but they need it no more than 22C.
I wouldn't attempt any others, they are all better in softer water.

rest are mainly 12 or below

no offense meant, just wanted to let you know which ones you could possibly have based on your water hardness as its right at the top range for corys

Yeah I understand and appreciate the input. It's still a list of possibilities. I am still surprised about my current success.
