How much ammonia
« on: July 25, 2017, 11:06:46 am »
Hi
Does anyone know the amount of ammonia my tank needs to convert to safely add 15 Denison barbs ?
I'm at the end of a fishless cycle and my filters currently converts 2ppm of ammonia in less than 24 hrs.
I keep dosing it to 2ppm to keep feeding the bacteria until I can get the fish this weekend.  Should I increase the ammonia to take 15 fish ( Denison barbs 2" long )in a 450 litre tank?

2ppm is more than enough - I also pointed this out on your other thread ;) :)
Remember to check whether the shop will sell you that many fish at once, and the "LWL" to get around it ;)
Sent from my PC as I still don't understand the the logic for mobile internet usage ;) *grin*
