Newbie looking for help for Shubee...!!
« on: September 13, 2017, 07:37:55 pm »
Hi guys,

I'm searching the net to no avail...

My Shubunkin (Lumpy!!) has had this on and off for years. It comes and goes periodically. the main lump below is now 8mm - 10mm diameter and raised 3mm convex from the body (mid pic area reddish with a few white bits on...first pic on left of fish as you look at pic. main growth is lower one) All other fish no issue with, always been healthy...

I've tried all sorts and he is a fish that eats, swims and generally look happy. Always the first to eat in fact!!

Any idea what this is and if it can be cured/managed??

Any help really appreciated.

Thanks guys.

What's the water like, ph and hardness?
Shubunkins do come up with spots when in breeding mode, but I've never seen anything like that before.
    Maybe it's a lymphatic problem?
Sent from my PC as I still don't understand the the logic for mobile internet usage ;) *grin*
