«

HI,
Looking for some advice.
I am setting up a tank for angel fish. I have an elderly bristlenose in a tank on his own. could I put him in with the new angels without stressing either species .
Many Thanks
Mike

You can never really tell with Angelfish because they can turn into right bullies but in my limited experience with them they tend to be more bothered by mid swimming fish than bottome dwellers. Some plecs will try to latch on to flatsided fish like angels but it tends to be rare.

Put him in before the angels.
When I last had angels, the only fish they didn't pick on was the BN, but cichlids are all unpredictable as far as temperament is concerned.

I'd back my BN against an angel fish any time
Never say never, but as long as you give it a nice piece of bogwood to hide in, I would have thought it should be fine, especially after dark...
