    There maybe a few fishy options...kinda depends on the size of your tank though.?.

    The best fish that I've found for eating algae is the Silver/Flying Fox. My filter housing and a rock were covered in algae about 1/8th of an inch long. Two Silver Foxes cleared it in about two weeks. They did a pretty good job on the plants as well.

    If it's a small betta tank, it's a bit pointless suggesting flying foxes who get get to 6"-7"....... :(
