What is this catfish
« on: June 26, 2018, 08:24:03 pm »
Hi guys
I bought this cat as a S Multipunctatus, it did look like a multi when it was an inch long but now it is around six inches long. I'll post some pics of this cat.

A multi hybrid, I presume. Fins look multi but the spotting definitely doesn't.

What's the issue with the size? Multis can grow to about a foot but if it's a hybrid it's potential is a bit of a guess...

I thought that the Multi's grew to the same size as Petricola and Lucipinnis that's why I kept asking about size.

It's certainly a handsome cat.  *grin*
Look after your fish and the water, do regular water changes & maintenance, do your research and the hobby will be rewarding.
    All the best
