Adding L183 White Seam/Starlight Bristlenose
« on: January 08, 2019, 02:59:04 pm »
Hi guys!

I have a Fluval Roma 240L with the population that's listed in my signature.

I've fallen in love with the white seam bristlenose and can source a male and female from my LFS.

My questions are these, am I being greedy and going to overstock my tank? and if I am, if I remove some of my fish (to another tank) to make way for the L183's will they be ok in a 240L tank with two other bristlenose?

Thanks for any suggestions or pointers you can give.

I wouldn't put them in with other BNs for two reasons....
If there are two males, the current may not appreciate the new trying to get territory and.....
They may interbreed, which would be a real shame.

That makes sense plankton. Never even thought of that.

That basically means if I want them I need to move the two BN I have (breeding pair) into another tank.
