Platty skin condition
« on: January 21, 2020, 07:51:43 pm »
Hi. I'm new to the forums. My name is Dan and I'm newish to the aquarium hobby.

I have a fully cycled fished tank with Platties, Mollies, Tetras, Cories and a Betta (who is so chill and friendly) and a Pleco.

I have a particular platty that seems to have white scaly, fleshy growth on it. I'm not sure what it is. It doesn't look like ich, but I am a novice and I was wondering if someone could identify what it is. He seems to have made enemies with one of the female mollies inside the tank, which harassed the platty all the time and seems to only attack the white side of its body, so I'm thinking this may be the case.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

If anyone could still identify this, that'd be great. So I can act upon any future similar issues.

Still not sure what this is and it seems to have passed to my molly since my platty died.

    Someone must've seen this before?!
