ICH and treatment
« on: January 22, 2020, 11:29:33 pm »
Hi everyone, I hope you can help.
Had a goldfish tank for just over a year now and decided to start a tropical fish tank.
I have a 105 litre terra starter kit tank from amazon.
My cycle started on a Tuesday, with biological booster, dechlorinator, driftwood for tenins and also live plants. The heater is at 24 degrees
i added 5 tetras and 2 platies to help boost the cycle.
Since Saturday, I’ve watched the fish, fed them, they’ve been happy and seem to have settled in.
However last night I was looking at the fish and they seen to have ich.
Small white dots on their tail fins.
I purchased ich treatment today. I put the required dosage in my tank as instructed.
I’m just wondering, do I need to continue putting the medicine in?
Do I just leave them to get better now ?
Thanks for taking the time to read  :)
