well...set up running smoothly and no losses!

did first water change yesterday...so much easier in a bigger tank

    everyday i am sh~t Shifting...but still no casualties still so looks like all has settled after the tank move!

    my bolivian rams seem to be acting oddly so hopefully they are preping for breeding!

    Nope not bothered...it was the 48L that was swinging. Transferred 75% of water from old tank into new

    I run in every tank Dawn as its all the same water and when i last tested the water KH was less than 1

    I didnt really have the option of keeping both tanks gonig at the same time due to lack of space...will just have to keep an eye on it and so far so good!

    would a powerhead assist in clearing the poo from one of the tank across to the other to the filter intake? my dirty sand is driving me mad....the longterm plan is corys but whilst bolivians are breeding want to hold off on that for now

    someone correct me if wrong but I don't think the filter is supposed to deal with poo only pee lol, thats your job :)

    whafting and hovvvvverring thats the way to go or get loads of plants and snails to do it for you, churning it down and under the line of sight :)

    nice tank and it's looking great already! plants from your old tank I take it? Twice the size of my Roma and I'm very envious, need more pics though :)

    Corys wont deal with the poo either as they dont eat it lol, Its a evil problem on we can deal with really ;( i can send u some MTS when i send u some micro worms if u want

    its quite heavily planted anyway to be honest....all the fry in this tank have gone now so will do a good clean up tomorrow!
