Looking at making some slate caves.
« on: February 16, 2020, 11:01:51 pm »
Hi all,

Due to my job change I now work for a roofing supply company and have got access to a good amount of slate (for free)

I am now looking at being creative and making some caves with the slate but would like to know some advice on what to do and what not to do.

Already considering filing the edges down so they are not sharp edges (I can see my Bala Sharks having a mad moment and cutting them selves) but what can I use to glue them together thats not going to cost me a fortune, I can see me not using the whole tube of glue and it going to waste.

Any other hints and tips would be great, got a albino plec and some little shrimp that will be using it alot.

Paul
