Plants no longer surviving
«

2 years ago my tank was flourishing with healthy plants. They grew that much and spread too quickly that I had to cut some back (see top 2 photos)
However since then, they no longer spread and any new plants I put in just go brown and die. I’ve tried various plants from shrubs to mother plants.
Nothing in the tank has changed; the water levels etc are all the same. I have tried the root tabs, the liquid feed and C02 liquid booster, but nothing stops the plants dying. I am now left with one plant, and one by my filter that is now dying. (See bottom pic)
How can a thriving tank suddenly change?
I want my tank back!
Thanks:)

Its about nutrients in your water, water change regularly, plants need Co2 and less oxygen, reduce surface agitation, if you can use gas Co2 that way your plants will be much more healthy.

The lighting has changed. If you’re using a tube it’ll need replacing every year or two.
