Advice on new setup
« on: December 26, 2021, 10:24:03 pm »
Hi all *2116*

Been away for a long time due to other commitments, looking to revamp my tank, and need some input  *cheers*

L*B*W is 70*50*50cm and I am looking to fill and plant over the next few weeks, I plan to plant a few tall plants at the back and build a carpet if possible along the front, I need some input on which substrates to use, ideally, I want to cap it off with light colour sand so...

Would these two work well together?

At the moment it's only preliminary planning so suggestions and alternatives are always welcome, will re-start a tank log when I'm ready
Cheers and Happy New Year

If your serious about plants then the best option is aquarium soil, you can scape it with rocks to make a great looking tank.
