    Morning guys
    B4 I go on my hols here is the readings, no major change from last night
    Ph- 7.6
    Ph high-7.4
    Ammonia-4.0
    Nitrite- 2.0
    Nitrate- 40

    Only change nitrites dropped from 5.0 to 2.0

     *2116* for now hopefully I'll get a signal where I'm goin but nt holding my breath with 3 network!

    It quite surprised me the progress.
    I bought some of that prime but can't see it doing anything with the water change...mind you like a typical Geordie always in a rush.
    Don't want to give a running commentary of my holidays but it's either so many days of holidays or so many days til I get back to the tank! Lol
    Only kidding its nice to spend quality time with my daughter.

    the prime detoxifys the ammonia and nitrite to a non poison form, not sure if I explained that very well, you will still get readings for them if you have them but they are harmless to any fish :)

    I like wales, when I win the lottery I'm going to buy a few acres in rural wales or up north in scotland, I really can't stand cities anymore.

    My mother lives in the Scottish English border and it gorgeous.
    You can take the boy out of the country but not the country out of the boy :)
    Kids disco finished, life band done little one fast asleep so time for a drink out on the verander chill. :)

    yeah the prime conditions the tap water so its safe for fish, removes chemicals that some of the water companies add for humans that the fish don't like :)

    Lol my tiny head got it now!
    I was more concentrating on the chlorine n nothing else.
    My 27.5ltr water change is Sussed into what I empty into and then worked out the amount of prime to add from the dose age from the bottle.then using the same measuring technique refill.
    I'm hoping that my readings will be at an acceptable level to introduce the hair grass, java and the vallis.
    Got the fert balls already to distribute evenly so they all get the benefit.
    The java is gonna be fun as I'm thinking of using the thread method.
    Before I forget what temp should I be looking at for the intro of the plants as I've forgot what I have it set at now? :(

    It's gonna be some time b4 fish me thinks.
    I want to get the Plants in settled and the readings just right and everything like food etc sorted first.

    Ordered some plants from LTP on ebay  too, box of 40 randoms. Hopefully be here soon.. Really was expecting them today.
