My snowball who is sadly no longer with us :( never been more sad about losing a fish than when we lost him!!!

Beautiful Pleco.

You do get so attached to them, don't you.

I find Pleco have such quirky temperaments. Mine are hilarious at feeding time. They all come out front, but if one gets spooked, they all spook each other!

If I remember correct he was about £35 but I've only ever seen them at this particular LFS once so may be they sold him cheaper than they should lol
I am sure I've seen them at MA for thirty odd quid :)
I think may well have to get another one when the main tank is back up and running :)

I have absolutely no idea! They appeared about 3 years ago, are impossible to remove and cause no harm so I've just left them.

I have those exact spots on my wood which appeared after I put them in the water, and I took photos and the MA where I bought them said they had been used in a killifish breeding tank, and apparently to hatch killifish eggs you have to dry them, and re add them to water, and MA reckon that the eggs hatched in my tank and left those marks. They are impossible to clean off. Not sure how accurate that is, but whatever they are, they are exactly the same as on my wood.
