Hi

Looking at the fish today I've noticed one of the gourami has what looks like some kind of wound/damage. I've posted a pic just incase any one has any ideas of what I'm dealing with regarding treatment or whatever.

Also I'm nine days into treating white spot with the heat method including regular water changes and all fish looked to be clear from spots yesterday but today I've noticed one of the cardinals has what looks like a spot around the mouth area although this spot is not very white! Any ideas?

Are the other two gourami picking on her?
Water changes, Melafix, crushed garlic will all help. Make sure the temp is the same as in the tank now.

I've not noticed the other two picking on her so to speak, the male will on occasion chase this one off and this one will on occasion chase the other female, but since the introduction of the second female there is less aggression and I do see them all out at the same time. I'll will try and keep a closer watch.

Think I'll definitely get some melafix as I've seen it mentioned on here a lot for various reasons.

I'm adding new water at same temp as tank water with every pwc.

So by this Friday it will be two full weeks of treating the white spot with high temps, pwc and substrate clean. Should I just presume the tank is then clear and just slowly bring temp down?

Sorry, I should have pointed out that Melafix is best if half-dosed with gourami (well all anabantids).

Nice one. Still haven't found the time to get to lfs yet so I haven't had a chance to overdose yet lol.
