Well I will try and give him a measure tonight see how big he is.

Surly I can keep them for a week they ain't to big and the tank is huge they have a little area they relax in so seem quite happy currently.

    Hey guys.

    I recently got some danios and one this morning seems to have what I can describe as a fish bone sticking from the side of its mouth.

    Also he looks like he can't close his mouth, you can just about see it if you soon into the picture, i'm not sure if I should catch him and gently remove whatever it is.

    Danios are always up to something. I would leave it a while to see what happens before trying to remove it (I can't actually make anything out in the pic), as that can often end badly.

    I think he has some sort of moth rot the poor bugger, I've isolated him with some plants to rest under, as he is not looking to great

    Melafix and crushed garlic to stop secondary infection, it may clear up, especially if it's from fighting other danios.
