    been keeping a close eye on him this will be day 3 of daily 20l (50%) water changes (despite water parameters being spot on ammonia and nitrite wise nitrates always been high) and dosing melafix and primafix no notice of improvement yet if anything looks like its progressing anything more i can be doing

    It'll take a while for the fins to grow back. Just do what you're doing and then keep the water as pristine as ever.
