That's rather amusing.....
The thing about the superglue is that is has to be a certain type, but I can't find my notes......I'm sure I've used some (Loctite) without checking and had no problems though.....there's a gel that dries without the white residue as well.

In marine world the advice was always to use the Superglue Gel, I'm sure Loctite Gel works just the same.  But I think you're right Ian, the point was to use the Gel rather than the usual liquid stuff.

thats the last water change done, hopefully by the end of the week ill have some substrate and move the old water and the filter ready to swap into the new tank
