Hey there fishy lovers.
I have had various tanks over the decades,but over the past few years I kinda lost interest a little and my stock has dwindled to just a few lonely tertas and one swordtail...................and it's all a bit sad 
I have decided to refurbish the tanks and restart (fish going to a friend).
I think I want just a few of one species. Something largish and colourful and not just a few shoals of little fish that I have had in the past.
The tank is only 2ft by 16" high so I realise that I can't have a pod of dolphins,but any suggestions would be great 
Ideally I was set on getting 3 Angels,but after reading a few comments I am not sure now.

I have 40-50ppm out of my tap and was curious how long a cartridge lasts. I do about 400L water changes a week

My other option is the Nitrate resin which is rechargeable, so in the long run would be alot cheaper...

Unfortunately the time has come to breakdown my tank. I'm really sad to be doing it but after plugging in a smart plug to check the tanks electric usage, I just can't warrant keeping it going. I'm not sure where to start so was looking for some general advice. What is the best place to advertise? I don't really want anything for the fish but would hope to get something for the tank even if its not much. Its a 350L tank so it's a big job which I know will probably take a while to fully complete (unless I can find a buyer for everything but I'm guessing that's unlikely). If anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated!
